Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
What You’ll Do
Trade Operations & Compliance
- Manage day‑to‑day import and export activities for Singapore and SEA locations
- Ensure compliance with Singapore, SEA, and applicable international trade regulations
- Review and release export orders, including urgent and ad‑hoc shipments
- Maintain and update trade compliance SOPs to support operational excellence
Licensing & Regulatory Management
- Support import permit applications and export licensing requirements, including Strategic Goods controls
- Manage and administer the Singapore Bulk Export License for strategic goods
Advisory, Risk & Audit Support
- Act as a trade compliance subject‑matter expert for internal stakeholders
- Assist with internal audits and compliance reviews
Minimum Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in trade compliance, import/export operations, or international business
Technical & Regulatory Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of Singapore and Southeast Asia import/export regulations and Strategic Goods controls, including License applications.
- SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) or similar automated trade compliance systems experience preferred
- Familiarity with U.S. export and re‑export regulations is a plus.
