What do we need

As a Global Total Rewards Analyst you will join our People Team that is building awesome experiences for candidates, employees and alumni. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational activities including the administration of our US benefits and retirement programs while serving as the main point of contact for employees and people leaders, you will also oversee UK benefits from an alignment point of view. You will become a subject matter expert on all health and wellness, benefits, retirement (401k, pension) offerings to help educate and support our employees with enrolment and any questions or related matters. You will also support the management of compensation programs, equity programs and policies to ensure they continue to support business strategy and remain competitive, cost effective and compliant. 

In this role you will get to

Total Rewards

  • Manage the administration of all U.S. benefits, health and wellness plans, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans, COBRA, and other pre-tax benefit plans.
  • Support the UK benefits team with global plan harmonization & UK plan/policy enhancements 
  • Manage US annual open enrolment program including plan renewal with cost analysis, coordinating all activities with benefits providers, employee communications including open enrolment education sessions with supporting resources.
  • Support new hire benefits, wellness, and retirement program education and enrolment.
  • Manage and maintain all benefits, retirement, wellness, compensation, equity, and other total rewards related resources on internal company wiki built on Atlassian Confluence.
  • Oversee global benefits programs, sometimes working with PEO’s to identify and implement benefit offerings & enhancements
  • Respond to the day-to-day inquiries from employees with benefits related questions or requests for information, policies or other supporting resources.
  • Manage administration and coordination of all leave of absence requests, including disability, FMLA, SSP (Statutory Sick Pay) , and/or any national or state-provided leave benefits. 
  • Support compensation surveys and review cycle data to enable leadership decision making on promotions or salary increases
  • Resolve issues related to plan operations; identify the root cause and establish the necessary controls.

Payroll Partnership 

  • Partner with the U.S., U.K. and global payroll teams to ensure correct and timely payroll inputs from employee benefits or retirement plan contributions and overall administration of the retirement plans, statutory payments and equity. 
  • Work closely with the global payroll team on benchmarking or other projects.
  • Assist on Payroll projects such as consolidation projects focusing on total rewards consolidation and ensure equitable plans by region.

Compliance, Audit & Reporting

  • Perform routine audits for all benefits and retirement plans against HRIS to ensure timely and correct enrolment, changes, terminations.
  • Ensure plan and contract compliance.
  • Manage all statutory reporting and filings at the city, state, and federal levels as required.
  • Contribute to compliance administration such as non-discrimination testing & perform in-house compliance testing.
  • Manage all internal stakeholder benefits reporting needs and external statutory reporting requirements.
  • Define & manage global benefits audit, compliance & reporting program and cadence.

Compensation & Equity 

  • Aid in the evaluation and analysis of salary data, determination of pay grades for new or existing jobs including market benchmarking.
  • Manage Company Equity Programs including the administration of assigning approved equity grants and quarterly reporting from our equity administration platform, Carta. 

Vendor Management 

  • Manage our total rewards vendors such as Sparrow, Sequoia Bswift , Anthem & Guardian Bupa, Carta, Retirement plan providers in UK & US 
  • Lead renewals, and manage vendor and/or provider payments.

PEO & EOR Partners

  • Partner with HR Ops on Global EOR/PEO’s Provider activities including reporting, benefits analysis, consolidation projects
  • Help lead special projects such as RFPs and implementation of new benefits vendors and programs

We are looking for people who have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Economics or related discipline with complimentary 8+ years  human resources experience managing benefits, health and wellness programs for global companies within the technology industry. 

The key skills we are looking for 

  • In-depth knowledge of US & UK Benefits plans, and Salary Benchmarking
  • Benefit and compensation specific guidelines of DOL, IRS, ERISA, HIPAA and PPACA, FLSA, FMLA, etc 
  • Retirement plan (UK & US) audits and government reporting requirements
  • Compensation review cycles and evaluating market data to determine employee compensation
  • Ability to define and solve problems by using judgment and critical thinking, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions
  • Presenting to a wide audience 
  • Advanced Excel experience with the ability to produce and maintain complex reports with large, multiple data sets using VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables and complex formulas
  • Strong background using premier Human Capital Platforms, such as Workday, UKG, Ceridian, etc. is required 

Nice to have 

  • Global Benefits Plans and benchmarks (inc. Canada, APAC, EMEA) 
  • Managing actions in Jira Service Management 
  • Confluence (creating articles and information pages) 
  • Supporting with new employees/new joiners with onboarding presentations and Total Rewards inductions.
