The opportunity
The Global Technical Training Manager for High Voltage Products defines the strategy and leads the implementation and continuous improvement of technical training programs across our global organization. This role ensures our teams are equipped with the technical skills and knowledge needed to drive operational excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
How you’ll make an impact
- Develop and execute a global technical training strategy aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with regional and functional leaders to identify global and regional training needs and priorities.
- Lead functionally a team of regional training specialists and/or external vendors.
- Design and deliver scalable technical training programs for our technical community (in-person, virtual, and hybrid).
- Create learning paths for various technical roles, including onboarding, upskilling, and certification.
- Ensure training content is current, engaging, and aligned with industry standards.
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure training effectiveness and impact.
- Conduct regular assessments and feedback loops to improve training programs.
- Maintain compliance with relevant regulatory and safety standards.
- Leverage learning management systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and emerging technologies.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Ensure consistency and localization of training across regions.
- Manage cross-functional projects and global rollouts of training initiatives.
- Harmonizes training tools and content across the regions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Education, HR, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Successful track record in delivering technical training solutions preferably in a global or multi-site environment
- Proven experience in instructional design, adult learning principles, and training delivery.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness.
- Experience with LMS platforms and digital learning tools.
- Ability to travel
