Horse Technologies is part of Horse Powertrain Limited – an independent new powertrain solutions business, with over 125 years of heritage from Renault and Geely. We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero.
This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid, Spain, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What you will do
Act as the global technical reference for sand core making processes within HORSE Technologies.
Define and validate core making processes for new aluminum casting parts.
Develop, review, and deploy process standards, best practices, and technical specifications.Support global manufacturing sites and casting suppliers to achieve QCD targets.
Lead problem-solving and root cause analysis for core-related defects
Drive innovation projects in core making technologies (e.g., inorganic binders, automation).
Collaborate with design engineering to ensure product-process compatibility.
Conduct feasibility studies (technical and economic) for core design and manufacturing.
What we’re looking for
A proven track record in sand core making processes and industrialization of casting parts.
A university degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering.
Excellent skills in problem-solving and technical project management.
Strong competencies in process standardization and cross-functional coordination, with a collaborative approach.
Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.
Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; Spanish or French will be valued.
