About the Role:
As a Global Technical Operations Analyst (m/f/d), you’ll be at the forefront of our Security Operations worldwide. You will play a key role in ensuring our global sensor networks, data collection, and processing systems operate flawlessly. Additionally, you will collaborate with our R&D department to resolve internal product issues.
Your responsibilities as a Global Technical Operations Analyst (m/f/d) include providing expert, professional, and competent analysis and troubleshooting of our globally deployed components.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for analyzing and resolving issues related to:
- Network Detection and Response components
- IT security solutions for endpoints
- Cloud integrations
- Risk scanner
In this role, you will work closely with customers and internal teams.
Additionally, you will assist in designing and implementing our security solutions for clients and support various teams with all questions related to the backend of the Arctic Wolf Security solution.
Further tasks include:
- Triaging customer inquiries, applying playbook-based solutions, and documenting any new issues identified during troubleshooting and resolution
- Strong communication and interaction skills, with the ability to engage effectively with many people and personalities. Efficient resolution of customer-identified issues is crucial for success in this role
- An understanding of Arctic Wolf’s processes and systems is essential for assisting customers with support inquiries
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT discipline OR IT specialist with at least 3 years of experience in the IT industry
- Solid foundational knowledge of networking
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as Active Directory
- C1-level proficiency in either German or English
Ideally skills:
- CCNA, Network+ or equivalent certifications
- Good understanding of DHCP, DNS, and VLANs
- Experience working in a Network Operations Center
- Basic skills in PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages
Additional Competencies and Experience:
- Knowledge in network routing and switching
- Experience in virtual environments such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Experience with firewalls and IDS/IPS
- Familiarity with Linux, Windows, and Mac operating systems
- Windows and Active Directory expertise
- Network and security audits
- Cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure
- MCSE or Active Directory MCP certification is a plus
- Implementation tools like GPO, SCCM, Intune, or Jamf
- Security+ certification
