The Travel & Expense (T&E) Operations Lead is accountable for expense management globally, with a team that is also globally located. Mars T&E is undergoing a transformation including process standardization and implementation of a single global instance of the expense management toolkit (Concur), along with enhanced focus on controls.
What would be your key responsibilities?

Deliver Great Line Management to a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, support, and developmental opportunities to help them achieve their career aspirations and perform to the best of their ability.

Leading through Influence a large team of outsource partners, through collaboration, and data driven alignment, consistently refining and optimizing the operations.

Understand and support business partners and the priorities of the business, to help deliver on various Mars objectives.

Provide insights and analysis on process-related topics, offering guidance and proposing & delivering solutions to shared, complex business problems.

Oversee and govern the teams that deliver core operations for MGSF Mars Global Service Finance) T&E, through SLAs and KPIs, providing support and driving key objectives within the team, and into the upstream process areas.

Through our three-tiered governance structure, provide insights to business leaders and stakeholders, employing metrics that matter, and driving improvements, through a combination of direct leadership, influencing without authority, and partnerships with business stakeholders.

Drive the T&E standardization agenda, streamlining processes and migrating to new technologies, across the global T&E community.

Partner with Governance & Controls to create a consistent control environment for T&E, through operational controls, standard audit routines, and robust account reconciliations.
What are we looking for?

University degree in Finance or Accounting.

7+ years of professional experience in accounting with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.

Previous experience in a similar role within a global organization, preferably in Shared Service environment.

Knowledge of Concur and SAP (S/4 Hana is nice to have).

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under time pressure.

Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders effectively across different business segments.

Fluent English.
