Department OverviewMaterial Purchasing - Global Supply Planning
Job Description

• Buys materials, using preferred suppliers at the negotiated price. Coordinates diversified and complex purchasing activities with all functional departments acquiring goods and services in a cost effective and timely manner.

• Review Net Requirement, Net Book Order, Net Book Order Priority vs the supply commit.

• Responsible for the metrics as indicators measuring key performances.

• Ensures records of prices, deliveries, and inventory levels are maintained.

• To ensure Continuity of Supply : 0-26 weeks supply demand outlook/Midpoint Goal

• Identify the critical supplier and drive supply fulfillment with different functional team, Category Manager, Supply Assurance team.

• Assist in developing proactive solutions to the issues that surface.

• Will support Global Supply Optimization Initiative

• Global Supply Planner with Internal customer relationship.

Basic Requirements

• Candidate must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in the relevant field

• Must have at least 5 years in supply chain, material planning, or purchasing.

• Candidate must be proficient in using Google Workspace software eg. Docs, Sheets, Slides and etc. Candidate with experience in using Oracle EBS & E2open will have an added advantage.

• Willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang (Hybrid)
