Overview
The Global Supply Planner plays a key role in supporting the Supply Planning team. You will work closely with other Supply Planners to ensure that finished good receipt plans are created to best meet the inventory requirements of global customers across multiple selling channels. You will interact and communicate with Forecasting, Finance, Product, and Production teams to identify inventory trends and constraints.
What You’ll Do:
Analytic Duties
- Analyze inventory trends and make suggestions to prioritize, expedite or delay open supplier Purchase Orders’.
- Proactively partner with Production and Channel Teams to report product and material availability issues for an assigned subset of styles.
- Support key stakeholders with weekly reporting.
- Conduct ad-hoc inventory analysis as needed.
Operational
- Determine global supply buy quantities using forecast, open orders, supply landscape and trend analysis for a subset of styles.
- Support Sublevel Purchase Orders process for assigned categories.
- Identify scenarios when it may be necessary to buy additional product to meet Minimum Order Quantities and advise product surcharge options.
- Performs ad-hoc duties as needed to support the Supply Planning Team.
- Partner with Social/ Environmental and Supply Planning Teams to ensure our production planning and purchasing practices do not negatively impact working conditions within our supply chain.

Experience You Bring:
- 5+ years of work experience supply planning, business forecasting, merchandise planning, or related field. Experience in apparel and/or textiles is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent additional work experience) in Supply Chain Management, Business, Analytics or related field is preferred.
- Experience with large scale ERP, or planning systems.
- Highly proficient with MS Office, with advanced knowledge and capabilities in MS Excel.
- Must have a general understanding of the upstream and downstream of supply chain process.
- Experience delivering against tight deadlines and navigating changing business environment.
- History of successful collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Hiring range: $90,000-$110,000 USD Annual
At Patagonia, pay ranges are assigned to a job based on the location specific market median of similar jobs according to 3rd party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary for several reasons including skills/capabilities, experience, and available budget. Note the full pay range for this role: $88,100 - $132,100 USD. The Hiring Range reflects where in the range we intend to hire for this role.
