As a member of the Global Supply Chain Team, the Global Supply Manager will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including Negotiating various types of commercial contracts, Purchase Order Releases, Budgeting/Forecasting, and Request for Quotations across Indirect Categories.
- Be a part of the Global Supply Chain Team building a supply base supporting an AI-first approach to enable safe self-driving at scale.
- Supply Category Strategy: Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for indirect categories such as IT HW, SaaS, Operations, Professional Services, and Facilities.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal customers to understand their requirements and align procurement strategies with business goals.
- Strategic Sourcing: Lead the full RFx (RFP, RFQ, RFI) process. This includes market research, supplier identification, bid analysis, and final supplier selection.
- Contract Negotiation: Partner with Legal and Finance to negotiate complex Professional Service Agreements (PSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain and optimize contract lifecycle management (CLM) data integrity, tracking, and compliance to ensure seamless indirect supply chain operations and vendor governance
- Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Manage the lifecycle of key indirect suppliers. Conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to monitor performance, innovation, and risk.
- Cost Management: Drive year-over-year "bottom-line" savings through competitive bidding, demand management, and process improvements.
- Process Optimization: Implement and refine P2P (Procure-to-Pay) processes to reduce friction in how the company spends money on non-production items.
- Develop and maintain budgets across multiple Indirect Categories.
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements & documentation.
- Track open Supply Chain issues, solutions and drive each to closure.
- Bachelor in Business (Supply Chain/Finance/Management) or Engineering.
- 4+ years of Supply Chain Experience.
- Background in supplier relationship management.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (formerly Google Suite).
- Expertise in Source-to-Pay processes.
- Open-minded and collaborative team player with the willingness to help others.
- Passionate about self-driving technologies, solving hard problems, and creating innovative solutions.
- Able to travel up 25% of the time to Waabi locations.
- Experience in the Autonomous or Electric Vehicle Industry.
- MBA or JD.
