We are currently seeking a Global Supply Chain Specialist to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Global Supply Chain Specialist at ICON, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain processes to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of goods and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and drive supply chain excellence across the organization.
 

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Maintain oversight of kit production vendor including maintaining performance metrics and making timely recommendations to management

  • Maintain performance metrics and make timely recommendations to senior management if these requirements are not met

  • Attend inter departmental and CLW risk assessment meetings to provide subject matter expert guidance to Project Managers on import and export regulations related to Kits and Specimen shipments

  • Work with quality assurance teams to investigate and process any quality issues, supporting the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Support QA team during sponsor audits providing relevant information to auditors for any Kit supply and Logistics related enquiries

  • Audit vendor invoices to confirm accuracy in accordance with pricing agreements. Work with ICON finance team to process payments and ensure timely payments to vendors

  • Collaborate with ICON Procurement team to provide operational oversight to contract and pricing negotiations

  • Improve the global department’s operational performance by introducing new ideas and concepts, with particular focus on new technologies and innovative solutions to kit supply challenges

  • Responsible for the Kit supply component of the Business Contingency Plan for ICON Central Laboratories

  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested by management

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.

  • 2-4 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a related area, preferably in a global environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience in engaging with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Salary Range

$62,376.00-$77,970.00
