Northrop Grumman has an opening for a Global Supply Chain Programs Manager 3 to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals within our Global Supply Chain organization. This leadership role is for Advanced Weapons in our Woodland Hills, CA facility.

The Global Supply Chain Program Manager 3 will lead the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Planning team with end‑to‑end supply chain initiatives for Advanced Weapons programs. In this role you will partner with Global Supply Chain, Program Management, Engineering, Mission Assurance, and lead cross-functional teams managing major supplier efforts by providing Program Management leadership, team leadership, and direction in support of multi-million-dollar programs. You will also lead proposal efforts across the Advanced Weapons Business Unit, driving the GSC Planning strategy and inputs for competitive and compliant proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

The Global Supply Chain Program Manager 3 will lead the GSC Planning team to manage supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance, inclusive of the following:

  • Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, and execution of all material and services content for a collection of Programs within the Advanced Weapons Business Unit, including leading GSC Planning inputs and strategy for proposals.
  • Acts as a focal point for the GSC Planning team and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers.
  • Leads supply chain program execution and is accountable for resource planning, material cost, forecasting, sales forecast, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolution.
  • Manages the GSC teams’ rhythm to align with program and organizational priorities to minimize distractions.
  • Ensures the team is utilizing the appropriate metrics and indicators to manage and improve performance.
  • Participates in development of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including leading GSC Planning proposal scope, estimates, and schedules for the Business Unit.
  • Acts as an advisor to leadership and customers.
  • The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels.
  • Candidate must be an effective communicator and will be expected to build relationships across multiple programs and departments.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in Supply Chain Management and/or Program/Project/Business Management, OR a Master’s degree with 6 years of the same, OR a High School Diploma/Equivalent with 12 years with the same type of experience
  • 5+ years of experience leading supply chain teams of 10+ individuals with processes, and/or projects from conception to completion.
  • 3+ years of experience managing suppliers.
  • 3+ years of experience with program management tools such as EVMS/IMS, baselining and EAC’s to plan for, identify, estimate, cost, acquire, schedule, and retire resources needed to satisfy program requirements within organizational constraints.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Particularly strong in PowerPoint & Excel)
  • Direct experience interfacing with leadership
  • Costpoint/SAP experience.
  • Knowledge of FAR and agency supplements
  • Cost Account Manager (CAM) experience
  • Current Secret Security Clearance or Higher

Primary Level Salary Range: $175,400.00 - $263,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
