This Position reports to:
Manufacturing Unit Manager
In this role, you will lead a small team responsible for global purchasing and logistics execution within our Autonomous Mobile Robotics (AMR) business. You will ensure cost-efficient, high-quality, and reliable supply of products by translating business strategy into a scalable supply chain model. Acting as a key interface to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, you will drive supplier strategy, performance, and development across regions. Your focus will be on building a resilient, cost-competitive, and future-ready global supply base that supports business growth.
This is a global role; the locations are Burgos, Spain or Shanghai, China (relocation required)
Your responsibilities:
- Define and execute the AMR supply chain strategy, translating global objectives into regional sourcing, logistics, and supplier management plans
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to strengthen the supply base, increase competitiveness, and mitigate risk
- Own supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery), including KPIs, regular reviews, and resolution of critical issues
- Deliver cost savings and risk reduction, including supplier consolidation, localization, and expansion into low-cost countries
- Drive procurement governance and planning, including contract standardization, policy compliance, budgets, spend tracking, and savings pipeline
- Lead and develop a small team, setting priorities, building capabilities, and ensuring high performance across procurement and supply chain activities
Qualifications for the role:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management within a global, matrix organization, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, S&OP, ERP systems (SAP), and demand planning methodologies, with advanced Excel, Power BI, and supply chain analytics tools
- Proven ability to collaborate across functions and geographies, with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, strategic mindset, and the ability to challenge the status quo and think beyond conventional approaches
- Fluent in English, additional European and/or Asian languages are a plus; willingness to travel globally up to 30%
