Global Supply Chain Manager – Taiwan

Position Summary
The Global Supply Chain Manager will own Forge Nano’s Asia-Pacific supply chain strategy and execution, with a focus on Taiwan-based suppliers and semiconductor customers. This role is central to ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of critical modules and components for Tephra ALD tool production. The Manager will drive supplier partnerships, logistics optimization, and dual sourcing strategies, while ensuring alignment with Forge Nano’s global ERP, ISO 9001, and SEMI compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
• Establish Taiwan as a hub for Forge Nano’s global supply chain operations.
• Lead supplier strategy for modules, automation, vacuum subsystems, and gas delivery equipment.
• Coordinate regional execution with global HQ manufacturing plans.
• Negotiate contracts and framework agreements to optimize cost, lead times, and supplier reliability.
• Implement supplier scorecards (OTD, quality, cost competitiveness).
• Oversee Taiwan export/import logistics and customs compliance.
• Manage just-in-time materials to support FAT/SAT readiness for Tephra tool shipments.
• Reduce working capital while maintaining safety stock of critical-path items.
• Partner with Forge Nano’s Quality team on ISO 9001 and SEMI S2 supplier compliance.
• Lead supplier audits and corrective action programs.
• Implement risk management strategies, including dual sourcing and regional supplier diversification.
• Work closely with Program Managers, Engineering, and Manufacturing to align supply chain schedules with customer delivery milestones.
• Provide executive-level reporting on supplier performance, material risk exposure, and cost trends.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business (MBA or PMP preferred).
Experience: 10+ years managing supply chains in semiconductor equipment, capital equipment, or aerospace industries. Deep familiarity with Taiwan’s semiconductor supply chain (Hsinchu cluster, module/automation suppliers).
Skills: Bilingual – Fluent Mandarin & English. Strong negotiation and supplier development skills. Proficiency with ERP (CiBZ, SAP, Oracle), MS Project/Smartsheet. Knowledge of ISO, SEMI, and export compliance.

• On-time delivery of supplier modules to support Tephra programs.
• Cost reduction and gross margin improvement.
• Reduced risk exposure through dual sourcing.
• Supplier scorecard ratings >90% on quality and OTD.
• Effective communication and alignment between Taiwan operations and U.S. HQ.
Work Environment
Work is carried out remotely, in a home office, and at customer and vendor locations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may handle hazardous chemicals at times. The employee will be required to wear all appropriate safety equipment including but not limited to eye protection, gloves, steel toe shoes, lab coat, etc. An employee in this position works in an environment in which safety, environmental and health concerns may demand constant attention. Strict adherence to corporate, vendor, and customer rules and regulations in these areas, is required.

Travel
Regular and frequent travel is expected for this position, with some travel on short notice. Since international travel may also be necessary, all interested applicants must possess a current passport.
Compensation
• 50,000 – 60,000 USD, depending on qualifications
