Join a well funded exciting startup as one of the initial Operations team members to help setup Operations/Logistics flow and systems. You will have great opportunities to work on various Operations functions including sourcing, planning, procurement, delivery and logistics. Our mission is to work closely with the business and technical team to help the company achieve operations excellence with successful volume production.

Responsibilities

  • As a GSM, you will own or participate in the following: 
  • Silicon suppliers sourcing & partnership
  • Develop & implement sourcing strategies (Foundry/OSATs/Toolings, etc), negotiate contract, maintain & build strategic partnership
  • Perform cost analysis and drive cost down
  • Risk management & Supply chain sustainability: Assess & mitigate supply chain risk to build up supply continuity with preferable quality control

  • Silicon planning, procurement & operations
  • Convert customer demand into forecasts to suppliers.
  • Work with manufacturing partners on forecast and capacity planning for chip manufacturing from wafer fabrication, package & assembly through testing.
  • Supply chain coordination to procure sufficient materials and components, with timely delivery and optimal inventory levels to fulfill chip fabrication cycles.
  • Build up deliveries & logistic infrastructures with on time deliveries to customers.
  • Develop operation related systems to enable automations as long-term strategies.

  • OEM/ODM order fulfillment
  • Order processing, receive/ review orders and process orders in timely manners and well communicate order status.
  • Inventory management, verify stock availability, coordinate with warehouse staff and manage backlogs.
  • Shipping & deliveries, define method and cowork with carriers & tracking

Requirements

  • 10 years related work experience
  • Proactive, responsible, self-motivated. Can do attitude.
  • Team player for cross functional communication and collaboration
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
  • Familiar with semiconductor industry standards & regulations.

Education and Experience

Industry experience as well as PhD, Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree
