The Global Strategic Accounts Director is responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans for Neogen’s most significant global customers. As a member of the Global Strategic Accounts team, this role partners closely with commercial leaders across regions and business units to deliver a coordinated, enterprise-wide approach to managing multinational customer relationships.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Strategic Accounts, the Director serves as the strategic leader for an assigned portfolio of high-value global accounts, building executive relationships, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring a consistent customer experience across geographies. This role establishes best practices in strategic account management and collaborates across the organization to drive sustainable, profitable growth.

Neogen is seeking a strategic, commercially focused Global Strategic Accounts Director to lead and grow relationships with a portfolio of high-value multinational customers. In this Director-level role, you will develop and execute enterprise-wide account strategies, build trusted executive partnerships, and coordinate cross-functional teams across regions and business units. This is a remote, full-time opportunity for a collaborative leader who can translate customer priorities into sustainable, profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive, multi-year strategic account plans for assigned global customers, aligning customer priorities with Neogen's enterprise commercial objectives.
  • Serve as the primary strategic contact for executive-level customer stakeholders, leading business reviews, strategic planning discussions, and long-term partnership development.
  • Manage complex multinational, multi-facility, and multi-product-segment accounts while identifying opportunities for revenue growth, product adoption, cross-selling, and enterprise solutions.
  • Lead negotiations for multi-year Global Master Supplier Agreements and manage customer expectations, value creation, and commercial performance.
  • Partner with Regional Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Care, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Quality, Legal, and Innovation teams to deliver coordinated account strategies and resolve complex customer needs.
  • Track account performance, pipeline development, market trends, competitive activity, and strategic initiatives; provide executive-level updates and recommendations to commercial leadership.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
  • At least eight years of progressive experience in sales, strategic account management, business development, or a related commercial discipline.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex enterprise or multinational customer relationships, including multi-location and multi-product portfolios.
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to build effective relationships with strategic, financial, operational, and technical decision-makers.
  • Proven negotiation, account planning, value management, project management, and business forecasting capabilities.
  • Experience working effectively in a global, matrixed organization, with the ability to travel internationally as business needs require.
