As GSAM - Technical Architect, you will be responsible for Leads design, positioning, and technical execution of advanced thermal and cooling solutions for global data center customers. Acts as a trusted advisor aligning customer requirements with optimized, scalable, and energy-efficient architectures across chiller, liquid cooling, and central plant systems. Partners closely with Global Strategic Account Managers (GSAMs) to align technical solutions with account strategy, drive customer engagement, and accelerate deal conversion. Serves as a global customer advocate, ensuring alignment between customer needs, solution delivery, and long-term partnership objectives.How you will do it:
- Architect end-to-end thermal solutions (air-cooled, liquid cooling, hybrid systems) aligned with hyperscale and colocation requirements
- Translate customer technical requirements into optimized system designs, including capacity modeling and performance trade-offs
- Lead technical components of proposals, including system architecture, energy efficiency modeling, and solution differentiation
- Partner with Global Strategic Account Managers (GSAMs) to align solution strategy with account priorities, customer engagement plans, and pipeline development
- Serve as a global customer advocate, representing customer requirements internally across engineering, product, and operations to drive alignment and delivery
- Lead and support program management of complex, multi-region data center initiatives, ensuring coordination across stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables
- Support pricing and commercial strategy through technical value articulation (TCO, PUE, lifecycle cost)
- Act as technical interface between customer engineering teams and JCI product/engineering organizations
- Drive innovation adoption (e.g., high-density liquid cooling, advanced chillers, heat reuse)
- Joint engagement with GSAMs in strategic account planning, global customer governance, and executive technical discussions
- Lead global customer advocacy forums to align technical roadmaps, performance expectations, and long-term partnership objectives
