The Role

In this pivotal role, you will:

• Architect and execute a client-centric go-to-market strategy that addresses the evolving SSE security needs of enterprises, driving significant market penetration and revenue growth.
• Partner with C-level executives and senior leadership to provide strategic guidance on SSE, and best practices, fostering long-term client relationships.
• Lead complex, high impact consulting engagements, applying rigorous analytical frameworks to develop and implement tailored SSE solutions that deliver tangible business outcomes.
• Cultivate and secure strategic client engagements by acting as a recognized thought leader and subject matter expert, showcasing our firm's deep expertise in SSE.
• Drive innovation and thought leadership by anticipating emerging SSE trends and developing cutting-edge methodologies and solutions, solidifying our position as the premier provider of SASE services.
• Empower sales teams with the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively communicate the value of our SASE offerings, driving successful client engagements and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategically Drive SSE Adoption: Develop and execute client-focused go-to-market strategies for SSE products and services, directly addressing the unique security challenges of enterprises.
• Become a Trusted Client Advisor: Partner closely with sales teams to deeply understand client business objectives and security needs, translating them into tailored, high-impact SSE solutions.
• Provide Expert SSE Guidance: Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, guiding them through complex SSE best practices.

Strategic Leadership & Solution Development

• Own and drive the Security Service Edge (SSE) strategy within the service provider’s security portfolio.
• Develop and implement Zscaler-based SSE solutions, integrating them with existing security and networking services.
• Define and establish best practices for cloud security, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design and enhance service offerings leveraging Zscaler technologies.

Technical Expertise & Implementation

• Lead architecture and design discussions related to Zscaler’s Internet Access (ZIA), Private Access (ZPA), and Digital Experience (ZDX) solutions.
• Provide technical guidance on integrating Zscaler solutions with SD-WAN, identity and access management (IAM), and other security services.
• Ensure seamless deployment of Zscaler-based SSE solutions, troubleshooting technical issues, and optimizing performance.
• Evaluate emerging cloud security trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory requirements to enhance service offerings.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the primary technical advisor for customers adopting SSE solutions, ensuring their security and compliance needs are met.
• Engage with CISO teams, security architects, and IT leaders to evangelize and drive adoption of SSE solutions.
• Support the pre-sales and sales engineering teams in customer engagements, proof-of-concept (PoC) demonstrations, and solution presentations.

Business Growth & Enablement

• Work with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market (GTM) strategies for SSE services powered by Zscaler.
• Identify revenue growth opportunities, new use cases, and market demands to refine service offerings.
• Conduct training sessions and enablement programs for internal teams and partners on SSE and Zscaler technologies.

Who You Are

Technical Expertise

• Strong experience in cloud security, SSE, and SASE architectures with hands-on expertise in Zscaler ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX.
• Deep understanding of Zero Trust principles, Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), and Firewall-as-a-Service (FWaaS).
• Proficiency in networking technologies, including SD-WAN, VPN, and identity-driven security frameworks.
• Hands-on experience in deploying and managing Zscaler solutions in enterprise or service provider environments.

Leadership & Communication

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive SSE initiatives at scale.
• Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
• Experience in delivering technical presentations, training, and thought leadership in security domains.

Certifications & Education

• Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional (ZCCP) or higher (ZIA/ZPA/ZDX focus).
• Other relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CEH).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a service provider or managed security services (MSSP) environment.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrations with Zscaler.
• Experience with automation, API-based security integrations, and security analytics.
