JOB MISSION:
The Sports Marketing Manager for Global Football will lead the evolution of our EMEA football sports marketing strategy and its execution across all European markets with a key focus on Germany, Spain, France, Italy, among others.
Working closely with EMEA leadership and local markets, the person in this position will be tasked with evolving and implementing our global football sports marketing strategy at the regional and local level. They will be the primary point of contact to all EMEA markets and serve as liaison between EMEA leadership, regional cross-functional teams, and global sports marketing to get results.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Evolve regional and local sports marketing strategies, capabilities, and infrastructures to drive global football and EMEA business objectives.

Collaborate closely with local teams to position football as key brand driver in the region, enhancing contractual rights and partnerships to strengthen our connection with the consumer and fuel overall business growth.

Assess existing local sponsorships and recommend strategic investment and divestment opportunities aligned with global game plan (athletes and teams).

Evaluate existing resource capabilities across the region, working with various leaders to identify and implement clear strategic solutions for the long-term.

Support markets on negotiations with local partners and development of standard processes.

Advance the strategic service vision and implementation within the region, in support of existing and future partnerships.

Support development and management of regional and local sports marketing budgets including investment recommendations to leadership.

Attend matches, photo shoots, charitable activations, industry events, and other related events to build relationships and drive growth opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

Relevant number of years of experience in sports marketing industry, football industry, partnerships, sports consulting.

Complex problem solver with high level project management and operations experience with expert organisational skills.

Ability to communicate complex problems and lead towards simple solutions.

International experience working across multiple diverse markets and cultures.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage internal and external parties at varying levels of seniority.

Strong presentation and creative negotiation skills.

Collaborative relationship builder and influencer.

Highly self-motivated and entrepreneurial with sense of urgency.

Passionate about football and sports in general.

Fluent English, multi-bilingual is highly preferred.

Ability and flexibility to travel internationally, domestically, and occasionally over weekends.
