This position reports to:
GPG Mfg Unit Manager__
In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to the next level and connect it with the Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) process. You will support the connection between Demand Planning, Supply Planning processes and Global Capacity enhancement with the goal of improving the organization’s ability to fulfill global customer demand.
In addition to creating and facilitating the monthly Supply Planning drumbeat, you will engage stakeholders and provide a process design ready to use and deploy for Supply Planning and reconciliation. A strong implementation focus, change management and a clear definition of process responsibilities will be key to success.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Leading and coordinating unit-specific and cross-unit projects aimed at improving planning and fulfillment metrics such as On-Time Delivery, Inventory Turns, Lead Time and Plan Accuracy.
- Designing and implementing the S&OP process from an operations perspective with a focus on Supply Planning and reconciliation.
- Managing stakeholders and defining roles and responsibilities within the S&OP process.
- Governing the monthly Global Business Supply Planning drumbeat and related KPIs and reporting.
- Further developing the S&OE process and connecting the S&OE and S&OP processes.
- Facilitating the Supply Planning drumbeat, related reviews and approvals to improve demand-supply balance.
- Identifying and proposing projects to drive the internal planning process to the next level using SAP MM, SAP PP and an advanced planning tool.
- Performing standard and ad hoc analyses related to S&OP and S&OE metrics such as Plan Accuracy and On-Time Delivery, including identifying key root causes for non-performance and driving related improvement initiatives.
- Acting as a subject matter expert for S&OP and S&OE, establishing and sharing best practices and conducting cross-unit process assessments and benchmarking.
- Building competencies within the organization by training and coaching the Planning & Fulfillment community.
- Facilitating fit-gap analyses of IBP-related IS tools, assisting with the deployment of standard IS solutions for Planning & Fulfillment and providing professional support for users.
Qualifications for the role
- You have more than 5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, production planning, scheduling or Sales & Operations Planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- You have a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or an equivalent field.
- You have expertise and proven track record of improving Planning & Fulfillment, particularly in the area of Sales & Operations Planning implementation and improvement.
- You have strong skills and hands-on experience in Supply Planning.
- You possess advanced knowledge of SAP MM, PP and WM modules.
- You have knowledge of advanced planning tools such as SAP APO, Anaplan or similar solutions.
- You have experience applying Project Management and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- You demonstrate strong leadership capabilities across team boundaries and with limited formal authority.
- You are customer-focused and action-oriented, with a systematic and structured approach.
- You have cultural awareness and the ability to work effectively within a global organization.
- You have strong communication skills in English, along with solid consulting and facilitation skills.
