Insulet’s latest innovation, the Omnipod® 5 Automated Insulin Delivery System, is a tubeless automated insulin delivery system, integrated with a continuous glucose monitor to manage blood sugar with no multiple daily injections, zero finger sticks, and is fully controlled by a compatible personal smartphone. Insulet also leverages the unique design of its Pod by tailoring its Omnipod technology platform for the delivery of non-insulin subcutaneous drugs across other therapeutic areas.
 

Studies have demonstrated the clinical and lifestyle advantages of insulin pump therapy over multiple daily insulin injections (MDI). However, many people still choose MDI therapy largely due to the complexity, cost, and inconvenience of conventional pump technology. The Omnipod is a discreet and easy-to-use system that eliminates many of the issues associated with conventional pumps. Position Overview:

The Manager, Sales Insights, will be responsible for developing and managing sales insights that help increase sales effectiveness, drive revenue and improve efficiencies in specific regions. This is a full-time exempt position reporting to the Director, Global Sales Insights.
 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and monitor sales productivity metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) 
  • Collaborate with region specific commercial leadership / sales effectiveness to identify areas of opportunity to drive sales effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • Leverage 3rd party data sources to identify market trends and insights.
  • Optimize internal data to identify key customers, HCP and/or account trends and segments.

Key Decision Rights (if applicable)

  • Consultation on selection of data visualization tools / applications and 3rd party data sources

Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience working in commercial analytical roles of increasing responsibility. 
  • BA/BS degree, ideally in finance, accounting, marketing, economics, or information technology, or relevant equivalent work experience.
  • Experience driving commercial/sales process improvement. 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate KPIs, insights and related recommendations. 
  • CRM Experience working with salesforce.com, and other analytical tools. Advanced microsoft excel, and salesforce.com dashboard and reporting skills preferred. 
  • Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex problems 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships across the organization 
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with all levels of an organization 
  • Perceptive, critical thinker with the ability to solve challenges creatively 
  • Proven ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage multiple complex bodies of work in a fast paced work environment 
  • Confident, self-aware team player open to receiving/providing feedback to peers and colleagues 


 

Additional Information

  • The position can be remote, hybrid or in-person at our Acton, MA office.
  • Travel may be required once per quarter on average or based on business needs.

Additional Information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $102,100.00 - $153,400.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
