Global Sales Engineer

Are you a service minded person who is passionate about technology, sharing knowledge and willing to drive technical projects and initiatives with our teams in the regions? We are looking for a Global Sales Engineer to join our team within the Product Management & Marketing organization.

Who is your future team?

Our main focus, within Product Management, is to plan, develop and manage most of the hardware products from Axis. Our scope includes e.g. portfolio planning, product planning, managing the product's life cycle, education & training and handling of complex support issues. Our interfaces are both internal such as R&D, Operations and Sales as well as external customers, partners and suppliers.

What will you do as Global Sales Engineer?

As Global Sales Engineer in our organization you will work in close collaboration with the Product Managers and Products Specialist in some specific teams. Initially we see a focus on working with our offering for Radar and Thermal cameras. These are examples of areas where we are exploring new segments and see a need to introduce our products and their use cases more widely to the market.

As a Global Sales Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Handling Pilots and Proof of Concepts
• Support our regions in the pre-sales process and introduction of new products and segments
• Build and share knowledge about our offerings:
  - Aggregate product content and adapt to the different regions
  - Build knowledge in potentially new areas and segments
  - Deliver regional and global trainings

Who are you?

We are looking for a driven and structured individual with a technical interest. We have a need to collect existing and new content and you will be the key resource to facilitate this both short and long term. You will help sharing knowledge both internally and externally, building a platform for information related to our offerings. You are also business oriented and have a good understanding of project sales cycles. We also want a team player and you are good at building your personal network as you will be interacting with a lot of different teams and people at Axis. Specifically, you need to secure a good relationship with our partners and sales engineers. You are always open to customers and colleagues, contributing to a good team spirit and a productive environment.

In addition to this we want you to have:

• A relevant technical education and at least 5 years work experience
• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt when engaging with diverse audiences
• A pedagogic approach, both spoken and written, when explaining technical matters
• Interest in, and preferably experience of, creating training material
• Fluency in written and oral English
• An excellent understanding of Axis' products and services

The role involves travelling, up to 30 days per year and the position is based in Lund, Sweden.
