This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we’ve announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. This Position reports to:

Reporting to the Head of PMO, with PMO responsibility, this global role is focused on leading IS projects within ABB Robotics. The Project Manager is responsible for executing initiatives using internal and external resources, ensuring alignment with business needs, company procedures, quality standards, safety requirements, and financial and scheduling targets.

Your responsibilities:

• Define project scope, budget, timeline, resources, and risk plans in collaboration with stakeholders
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with ABB methodologies while serving as the main stakeholder contact
• Lead project teams, manage vendor contributions, and align deliverables with strategic objectives
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to the Steering Committee
• Adjust project scope in response to changes in global IS or business strategy

The role operates on a global scale, with budgets ranging from 100,000 to 3 million USD annually. It impacts one division with over 3 billion USD in revenue and serves more than 6,000 end users. Challenges include managing a global virtual organization, navigating a multicultural environment, handling complex projects with high business risk, and coordinating with multiple third-party vendors.

The position is global. The preferred locations are Poland, Sweden, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary, Portugal.

Your background

• Minimum 8 years of experience in global IS project management
• Experience of ERP implementations and knows & understands the S4 HANA implementation approach from SAP
• Global project leader for project implementation with budget more than 3 MUSD
• Certifications in PMP, Prince2, Agile, ITIL, or Scrum Master
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and produce high-quality documentation
• Fluent in English, with a proactive and self-motivated approach
