Job Title: Global Certification & Delivery Resource Development Manager
Location: UK, Remote/Homebased
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Job Overview:
Reporting to the regional Global Certification & Assessment Delivery Director, the Global Certification and Delivery Resource Development Manager will take responsibility for ensuring efficient resourcing of the Certification and Assessment Delivery team through the onboarding and qualification of all new Certification Managers, Client Managers, External Resource Assessors and upskilling of existing Client Managers.
Operating within the Global Product Certification team, the role is homebased but will involve regular visits to UK sites to build effective working relationships within the operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- To lead the focus (and at least 1 team member) for Global Certification and Assessment Delivery Resource development, focusing on developing disciplines competency frameworks, to demonstrate competence in each of our core, to identify key risks and opportunity for development within our teams
- To collaborate with Global Heads of Delivery and Certification and appropriate stakeholders to support professional technical development within PC
- To represent Global Certification and Delivery within our business, actively working with our Training department to identify and support the movement of TOUS and training to be moved from PG to the Assurance Academy
- Manage the onboarding and training of all new Certification Managers, Client Managers and External Resource from offer acceptance through to qualification
- Manage the training of existing Client Managers in further products through to qualification and/or Lead Assessor status where appropriate. Determine priority training needs in line with Global Certification & Assessment Delivery Director, and Regional Heads of Delivery
- Continually review the onboarding process to ensure it is delivered efficiently and effectively, in line with internal compliance requirement
- Conduct pre-qualification reviews for each trainee to confirm readiness for qualifying review
- Provide regular updates on the status of training to the Regional Heads of Delivery in addition to other key stakeholders as required
- Ensure qualification records are accurate and updated in a timely manner to ensure efficient allocation of work to qualified Client Managers
- Manage requalification process for existing Client Managers in line with budget and compliance requirements, reporting back to key stakeholders on progress
- Support the Client Manager Mentor process
- Attend and form part of the assessment team at recruitment Assessment Centres
- Support with delivery of assessment days where required to ensure delivery qualifications are maintained
- Actively support the Heads of Certification with recruitment, on boarding and training programmes to meet our accreditation requirements
- Effective people management of a team member to ensure that all key areas of the role are managed and complete in line with key Performance Indicators
Required Skills & Experience:
- Qualified Lead Auditor with knowledge of BSI, or similar standards body processes, products and training requirements
- Qualified to at least Assessor status in at least one of BSI’s core assessment products
- Strong operational background and knowledge of assessment processes and understanding of assessor qualification and development processes
- Commercial acumen with the ability to focus on both current and strategic priorities in line with business goals
- Experience in delivering training or coaching others
- Demonstrable leadership experience
- Willingness to challenge existing ways of doing things combined with an ability to understand the constraints
- Ability to create working procedures to ensure procedural compliance
- Self-motivated and results oriented, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Act as a brand Ambassador for BSI. This means acting ethically, following company rules and promoting BSI services to clients so they are able to optimize business performance and “Make Excellence a Habit”
- Excellent communication skills with proven ability to effectively communicate both directly and indirectly with a field-based team
- Good networking skills with the ability to identify key stakeholders and collaborate effectively with them, achieving business results with and through others
