Global Reach Admin Assistant 
Position Status: Full-Time

SUMMARY 
 
The Global Reach Admin Assistant will support the Global Reach department, focusing on short-term missions. This role is responsible for processing funds, managing follow-up communications, organizing events, and completing various administrative tasks to ensure the department operates efficiently and effectively. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Processes financial contributions and ensure proper documentation. 

  • Maintains accurate records of funds, donor information, and mission trip expenses. 

  • Prepares and distributes reports as needed. 

  • Responds to inquiries and provides information about mission trips. 

  • Assists in planning and organizing department events, including mission trip logistics, fundraising events, and team meetings. 

  • Provides administrative assistance to the Global Reach Department, including organizing special meetings and managing office needs. 

  • Assists in the creation and scheduling of social media content to promote upcoming missions trips, highlight team stories and share department updates. 

  • Collaborates with the Communications team to ensure messaging aligns with overall church branding and strategy. 

  • Designs basic graphics and digital assets for use in email campaigns, social media posts and printed materials relating to missions. 

  • Helps maintain the department’s online presence by updating the content of web pages, trip applications and promotional materials as needed. 


Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • High school degree or equivalent 

  • Professional communication skills including verbal and written communication. 

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. 

  • Administrative skills. 

  • Proficient computer skills 

  • Organized with the ability to prioritize tasks. 

  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. 

  • Ability to work with excellence in a fast paced, creative environment.  

  • Provide quality leadership motivating Victory Reach volunteers in a positive manner, communicating effectively the vision, goals and expectations of the department 

  • Efficiently manage all resources on behalf of the ministry 



Physical Requirements 
 
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to: 

  • Must be physically capable of enduring long periods of travel by various means, including air, sea, and ground transportation, often under conditions that may be less than ideal, such as long flights, extended bus rides, or rough terrain. 

  • Able to sustain prolonged physical activity and work in diverse and challenging environments, which may include extreme weather conditions, remote locations, and limited access to modern amenities. 

  • Must be able to stay on the mission field maintaining high energy levels and focus in environments where comfort, sleep, and regular routines may be disrupted. 

  • Capable of performing physical tasks such as setting up and dismantling equipment, assisting in field operations, and participating in manual labor as needed in support of mission objectives. 

  • Ability to lift 50lbs for Reach equipment and gear. 

  • Prolonged period sitting at a desk working close-up tasks primarily on a computer in environmentally controlled office. 

  • Ability to be able access and navigate each department at the ministry’s facilities.
