The Quality Specialist is responsible for independently inspecting all products manufactured by approved Contract Manufacturers to ensure they meet Mystery Ranch Quality Standards. This role requires consistent adherence to ISO 9001 standards and internal quality processes.
Key Responsibilities

  • Inspection and Documentation of Contractor Manufacturer Goods:

  • Apply Mystery Ranch quality standards to inspect domestically produced goods.

  • Coordinate inspection priorities with the Global Quality Engineer and Supply Planner.

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of inspection reports and quality documentation.

  • Assist in repairing nonconforming products as needed.

  • Accurately document inspection data, repair times, chargebacks, and deviations in Centric.

  • Communicate quality feedback promptly and effectively to the Global Quality Engineer.

  • Demonstrate proficient knowledge of Mystery Ranch Quality Standards and apply them during inspections.

  • Communicate non-conformance findings to Domestic Contractors and determine appropriate actions (repair, return, or reclassification).

  • Review and complete Material Review Board (MRB) documentation.

  • Collaborate with the Global Quality Engineer to identify and implement process improvements.

  • Support ISO 9001 compliance efforts and maintain related documentation.

  • Domestic travel may be required up to 10% of the time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors preferred or equivalent experience

  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate across multiple teams.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to shifting priorities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and NetSuite.

  • Familiarity with Mystery Ranch products preferred.

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.

  • Experience with Centric PLM software preferred.

  • Sewing experience is a plus.

Skills Required

  • Greater than 2 years relevant experience
  • Bachelors preferred or equivalent experience
  • Must possess a current and valid passport for international travel
  • One year sewing and or Inspection experience preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers
  • Experience working with quality systems
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with a working knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to quickly adjust priorities
  • Excellent working knowledge of NetSuite and Centric
