Kantar Worldpanel is looking for a Global Project Manager to join the Product & Solutions team, is an incredible opportunity to be part of a global business transformation towards our exciting vision for the future. This individual will lead the planning and delivery of global projects alongside a cross-functional team and stakeholders, building a career path in a modern, truly global, project-setup environment.

What does success look like in this role?

  • Collaborate with impact as a trusted partner to Product, Operations, Technology and Commercial teams, by understanding their interdependencies and ensure alignment on business needs.
  • Define and implement a clear governance model for collaboration with the teams, that increases the value of the outcome while keeping the process and paperwork as light as possible.
  • Plan projects and drive progress and communication to ensure that scope, budget and timelines are successfully achieved.
  • Define and manage appropriate metrics and KPIs to effectively monitor and report on progress to project teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Manage constraints and risks with appropriate mitigations to ensure projects are driven with maximum effectiveness to deliver the defined outcomes.
  • Proactively make recommendations to ensure project business outcomes are achieved.
  • Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies and tools to expand and mature these capabilities for the wider organization.
     

Key Capabilities

Your background will ideally look like this…

  • Relevant successful experience in project management, in an international environment, and having developed solid working relationships.
  • Possesses full business proficiency in English (C1 Level Minimum).
  • Shows interpersonal skills to influence and spur change, enhance performance within a cross-functional matrix environment by collaborating across multiple areas to achieve a common business objective.
  • Ability to understand the business and strategic goals in relation to the managed projects and apply that understanding to drive project outcomes.

  • Proactive, optimistic, and willing to get involved to achieve the team's goals and objectives.

  • Capacity to work with autonomy, self-organized, and rigorous with deadlines to self and others.
     

The following, although not mandatory, will be appreciated…

  • Experience in large scale business transformation programmes.
  • Demonstrable project management experience of shaping and delivering multi-regional projects.
  • Previous experience working within a multicultural business environment and developing solid working relationships with clients and colleagues from different countries and cultures.
  • Domain of any other language besides English.
  • Has obtained at least one of the following certifications: Prince2 Practitioner or PMI-CAPM (PMP) or Scrum/Agile equivalent.
     

Key stakeholders

  • Head of Project Management in Product & Solutions – the person that will work closest to you in introducing the projects and initiatives and structuring each operating model.
  • Product & Solutions Leadership Team –key Product / Solutions leads and representatives for each initiative, and whom with your work you will be supporting in first place.
  • Executive level (CPO, CTO, COO, CCO, Regional MDs) – sponsors of the projects, ultimate decision makers.
  • Technology, Operations, Commercial teams – partners to deliver the projects, colleagues with whom we work very close to. Often have correspondent Project Managers to cover their specific areas and with whom you with work in close collaboration.
  • Markets representatives – hold the specific knowledge of their markets, depending on the role and seniority they can be members of Steering Committees, leads of particular processes or business experts.
