Job Title: Global Project Management Office Manager

Job Description
The Global Project Management Office Manager is responsible for implementing program and project management plans. This role involves supporting activities related to planning, organizing, and controlling resources and processes to achieve project and program objectives within defined scope, time, quality, and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and overseeing the Global operations Project, Program and Portfolio Management tool
- Ensuring alignment of projects with the organization's strategic objectives.
- Defining and maintaining the standards for project management within global operations.
- Implementing project management methodologies, processes, governance, tools and templates.
- Leading a global community of practice, relating to PMO best practices and providing guidance and best practices to ensure consistent and efficient project management across Global operations.
- Providing support and training to project, program and portfolio managers and relevant teams globally.
- Developing simplified connected dashboards for monitoring and reporting on performance and progress.
- Facilitating communication and collaboration among project teams and key stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications
- Background in manufacturing, supply chain, or engineering within large global organizations.
- Training/certification in project, program, and portfolio management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Prince 2, Lean, Six Sigma, Agile). Green or Black Belt with execution experience desired.
- 8+ years experience in setting up and managing a Project Management Office (PMO).
- Skilled in project/program and portfolio management software.
- Excellent knowledge in Project Lifecycle, from initiation to closure.
- Understanding of Hoshin Kanri/strategic alignment and prioritization.
- Ability to design and implement structures, standards, templates, and governance processes in a matrix organization.
- Proficiency in risk assessment, identification, containment, and mitigation.
- Experience leading a global PMO community of practice.
- Expertise in developing digital dashboards and tools for progress and performance insights.
- Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work in virtual teams across cultures and time zones.
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional and cross-cultural projects in a matrix environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
