What You Will Do

As a Global Product Support Specialist, you will take technical ownership of Sandvik Rotary Drilling products in the field, supporting our frontline sales and service teams around the world. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Providing timely technical support on Sandvik Rotary Drilling products to customer sites domestically and internationally.

  • Configuring drill control-system software and machine parameters using Sandvik's frontline service tools.

  • Delivering hands-on classroom and mine-site training to Sandvik frontline teams, Sales Area Product Masters, technicians, and customers.

  • Investigating and resolving field issues through root cause failure analysis, in close collaboration with Product Engineering.

  • Reviewing Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) cases with Technical Support, Engineering, Sales, Product Management, and Manufacturing.

  • Advising on recommended spare parts lists and warranty recommendations, and maintaining Technical Support documentation.

About You

  • Ability to work in the U.S. on a full-time indefinite basis without current or future employer sponsorship. Temporary work authorizations such as F-1 OPT/STEM OPT are not sufficient for this position.

Experience & Education

  • Minimum of 10 years in a technical role supporting heavy mobile equipment, including at least 5 years working directly with drilling or comparable surface mining equipment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Mining Engineering — or an equivalent trade/technical qualification combined with extensive, demonstrated field experience on drilling or heavy mobile equipment. (Degrees in IT, computer science, or software engineering alone are not a fit for this role.)

  • Proven track record delivering hands-on technical training.

  • Valid U.S. passport (or ability to obtain) and valid driver's license required. MSHA (Part 46/48) and First Aid certifications preferred.

What We Offer

  • Health care (medical, dental, vision, prescription, telemedicine) starting 30 days after hire.

  • Paid vacation with up to 80 hours rollover.

  • Paid parental leave (eligibility after 12 months of service).

  • 401(k) with 5% annual salary contribution + 50% match on the first 6%.
