This newly created role will suit a commercially focused Product Manager (ideally with maintenance contracts experience) who has driven business and product performance by devising appropriate international Go To Market and pricing strategies.
The Opportunity
Esko is a leading provider of packaging and printing related hardware (high-end flexo platemaking machines - https://www.esko.com/en/products), software, and consulting services to instantly recognisable global clients, enabling them to produce the best packaging for billions of consumers.
Based remotely in either Germany, UK, or Belgium (with some visits to our office near Hamburg), the Global Product Manager owns the entire lifecycle of Esko’s CDI/XPS Flexo product lines, ensuring global customer satisfaction, growth, and recurring revenue profitability.
There is currently a significant growth opportunity to drive increased recurring revenue profitability, enhanced customer service, remote problem solving and functionalities, by focusing on our newly established IoT solution for our Flexo equipment.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

Oversee the entire lifecycle of CtP (Computer to Plate) systems, from product development and launch to end-of-life management, whilst defining product pricing strategies and go-to-market models based on in depth knowledge of customers, competitors, channels

Develop and manage maintenance contracts to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction, in phase with the age and complexity of the equipment. Monitor product performance and maintenance contract effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to improve/optimize

Define and implement the IoT strategy for CDI/XPS systems, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and oversee the entire lifecycle of IoT-enabled flexo platemaking systems, from concept through development, launch, and end-of-life

Conduct market research/VoC to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Manage the performance and sales revenue of your products in the different regions by strong market understanding and develop 1-3 year product vision and strategies that align with company goals and market demands

Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing support. Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand their needs, and ensure their satisfaction with our products and services

Act as a product evangelist both internally and externally to build awareness and understanding by represent the company and visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services
The Ideal Candidate

Commercially focused Product Manager who has driven business growth by devising and executing international GTM & pricing strategies, ideally encompassing innovative maintenance contracts aligned with hardware equipment

Understanding of IoT technologies, protocols, and applications is advantageous

Strong verbal & written communication (fluent English), cross-functional collaboration, relationship building, stakeholder management, listening, and influencing skills

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field / or similar through work Experience. MBA or advanced degree is a plus
