Global Product Manager, Paperboard
Your opportunity
We are currently looking for a commercially driven Global Product Manager to join our Product Management and Strategic Marketing team within our Foodservice segment.
Reporting to the Head of Product Management & Strategic Marketing, the successful candidate will play a key role in accelerating sales, training our sales teams, as well as building value propositions and business cases across their product range.
Where you’ll be
You will be in one of our Foodservice locations in Europe (office based or hybrid), locations include: Espoo, Finland, Gosport or Blackburn United Kingdom, Nules Spain, Czeladz Poland, Alf Germany or La Rochelle France.
What you’ll be doing
Accelerating the sales of specific product groups across our global key accounts and local customers, ensuring we have the right product offering at the right price.
Acting as the ‘product expert’ to our customers and internal stakeholders, working extremely close with the sales teams, especially global key accounts.
Managing the product portfolio, high level specifications, capacity plans and investments for specific product groups.
Training and motivating our sales teams to increase capabilities, empowering them to sell new innovations and products in the product portfolio.
Analysing the requirements of a market/customer, building the right product offering, right capacity and attractive value propositions for our customers.
Building business cases for specific product groups.
Advising key stakeholders on sustainability topics, regulation and fees.
Executing the strategy and three-year plan for the specific product group; building the product roadmap and growth plans, ensuring we execute as per our plans.
Acting as a link to the NPD team and coordination point between Operations, NPD, Sourcing and Sales teams
What you’ll bring to the role
A master’s degree in business or technology (or similar)
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales/commercial and product management roles, ideally working with global organizations
Experience in the packaging industry, preferably in foodservice/paperboard
Commercially driven with a pro-active nature and a passion to get things done
Strong communication skills, exceptional presentation skills (able to present internally & externally)
Excellent analytical skills with experience in sales reporting and the ability to pull together key messages from a large amount of data.
The ability to create future growth plans and execute the strategy of your product group, whilst also being able to dive into the detail on technical and commercial topics
The ability to work independently as well as part of a multinational team
A ‘hands-on’ approach to be able to support our teams with concrete proposals and to ensure we execute as per the built plans and proposals
Fluency in English language
