The Leader of Global Product Management will lead and mentor a team of Global Product Managers and Global Quality in the Thermal Specialized Solutions business at Chemours. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic direction, innovation, and global execution of product line strategies to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure the long-term health and profitability of the product portfolio. The Leader will be responsible for overseeing complex strategic initiatives, aligning cross-functional teams, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and profitability:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global product line strategy, aligning Internal assets and external partner assets to achieve business goals
  • Lead efforts to drive variable cost productivity, assess competitive cost positioning, and optimize the balance of internal and external sourced raw materials.
  • Establish quality standards, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and Cost of Manufacturing (COM) targets, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
  • Collaborate with Procurement to formulate strategic raw material and product purchase/swap strategies.
  • Partner with regional product- and sales management to define service levels, lead times, and Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ) consistent with strategic objectives.
  • Oversee the balance of supply and demand across a 5-year strategic horizon and set global supply priorities in collaboration with the Global Supply Chain.
  • Establish global product floor pricing in alignment with the overall product line strategy.
  • Manage and optimize transfer prices with Joint Ventures (JVs) and internal Chemours entities.

Quota management

  • Develop an aligned global quota and allocation management strategy that ensures alignment with all local regulatory requirements
  • Manage and develop framework for execution of quota management and reporting and oversee the regional execution to be 100% compliant

Product Portfolio Management:

  • Spearhead global SKU optimization and rationalization initiatives.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of global product specifications and datasheets.
  • Responsible for global quality, ensure the right managing processes are in place to ensure high quality standards of our products and the sustainability of product line and assets
  • Own Step 1 (Product Review) of the Chemours Integrated Business Management (CIBM) process and provide input on demand changes from new SKUs and SKU rationalization.
  • Participate in Step 3 (Supply Review) and Global Demand Reviews.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7+ years of business/marketing/commercial experience, including product management
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Operations, Contract Manufacturing, or Supply Chain management (or equivalent experience).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Business Management, Technology, or a related field
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, execution, and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional business acumen and leadership communication skills, with the ability to connect and integrate effectively with global and regional business teams.

Pay Range (in local currency):

$169,344.00 - $264,600.00

Annual Bonus Target:

27%

Annual Stock Amount

65,000.00 USD

The incentive pay is dependent on business results and individual performance and subject to the terms and conditions of the specific plans.
