Job Description
We are seeking someone to help shape the approach which will enable KHC in the delivery of the ESG for KraftHeinz; Build and ensure the functionality of operating model for KHC's overall ESG teams and agenda across the organization.
What's on the Menu?
Operationalize ESG throughout the company 50%

  • Build effective operating model, project management, and governance surrounding key initiatives related to our global ESG commitments
  • Develops effective ESG governance and strategy to ensure business action and integration.
  • Lead & facilitate KHX ESG decision making forums as part of the newly established governance process.
  • Identify and map out the top initiatives to achieve targets, track with the global target landscape in mind and find the right escalation points if vital to ensure delivery
  • Ensure accountability of material topic leads, zones and functions for delivering plans and capturing value by building and managing processes to monitor and track the global sustainability roadmap, highlighting key milestones and decisions to be made.
  • Build & manage budget across the global ESG organization, aligning with key stakeholders and handling tradeoffs between the different agendas.
  • Lead ~7M ESG budget for consultant, and strategic program support.
  • Handle the development and supporting methodology for the global leadership ESG MBO (CEO) and its cascade.
  • Facilitate the monthly & quarterly performance management updates across relevant ESG KPI's.


Ensure best practice sharing and alignment of ESG efforts across the KHC Company 30%

  • Map out cross functional operational model including gap analysis and a define clear action plan to close the gaps including set up of task force, agile pod initiations etc.
  • Evolve ways of working in collaboration with zones and function teams to deliver KHC ESG commitments
  • Design and evolve clear cross functional routines throughout the operating model based on agile methodology.
  • Structure and execute internal forums to effectively shape and share expectations;


Build an ESG oriented culture 20%

  • Serve as the point of contact for the set-up of the operating model related to ESG at KHC
  • Build an understanding of how other companies operate and propose best practices to be adopted internally
  • Create a shared understanding of ESG objectives and standard methodologies through a recurrent dialogue with zone and function leaders, as well as senior management.

  • I understand agriculture-dominant supply chains and the challenges therein - understanding of ag procurement, decarbonization, nature, and supply chain sustainability challenges and opportunities.
  • I have 8+ years of experience of working and driving ESG change in commercial complex environments and in program management roles including cross-functional stakeholder management.
  • I have worked on sustainability strategies definition and implementation (preferably in FMCG).
  • I have multiple years' experience in process redesign (e.g. Lean Six Sigma); working across cultures in a large multinational environment.
  • I get results, can self-management, have organizational skills and personal drive - I think strategically and am able to connect sustainability with non technical partner functions.
  • I possess sophisticated partner management throughout the organization to: Prioritize and coordinate cross functional team efforts.
  • I can set the groundwork for collaborative vision and strategy definition.
  • I make the complex simple and influence to inspire change.
  • I build effective tools / standardization templates.
  • I am an excellent communicator (e.g. present to, connect with and influence senior leaders).
