Job Description/Responsibilities

The Global Procurement Finance Analyst serves as the key financial business partner to the Global Procurement organization, providing financial analysis, strategic sourcing support, cost savings validation, supplier performance analytics, and reporting across direct and indirect spend categories. This role is responsible for supporting category teams and leadership in driving value creation, cost optimization, and strategic decision-making for ~$3B+ in annual third-party spend. 

Qualifications/RequirementsPriorities
  • Analyze direct material, indirect spend, logistics, and supplier cost trends to identify cost reduction opportunities. • Validate and track procurement savings, cost avoidance, and value creation initiatives. • Develop total cost of ownership models to support sourcing decisions. • Conduct price variance analysis, purchase price variance (PPV) reporting, and inflationary impact assessments. • Support month-end close activities related to procurement and inventory accounting.
  • Provide financial modeling and business case analysis for sourcing events, supplier transitions, and make-versus-buy decisions. • Evaluate supplier quotations, pricing structures, and commercial terms. • Support commodity managers in developing and executing global sourcing strategies. • Analyze market trends, commodity indices, and supplier cost drivers to inform negotiations. • Provide financial insights and scenario analysis for supplier negotiations
  • Develop and maintain procurement KPI dashboards and executive reporting packages. • Monitor supplier performance metrics, spend analytics, savings realization, and contract compliance. • Generate global procurement performance reports for executive leadership. • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and reporting. • Improve procurement data quality and reporting automation.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing plants, supply chain teams, and operations leaders to support cost management initiatives. • Partner with Plant Controllers to monitor material cost performance and sourcing impacts. • Support new product introductions by evaluating material cost estimates and supplier economics. • Work closely with Finance and Procurement teams to align financial forecasts with sourcing strategies. • Assist in the development of annual operating plans, forecasts, and long-range strategic plans.
QualificationsMUST
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, supply chain management, economics, business administration, or related field
  • Strong understanding of direct materials procurement, commodity management, and supplier economics
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of procurement metrics, sourcing processes, and cost accounting principles
  • Proficiency in excel, power bi, tableau, or similar analytics tools
  • Experience with spend analytics and procurement reporting systems
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in a global environment
  • Strong project management and continuous improvement mindset
PREFERRED
  • Mba, cpa, cma, or related certification
ExperienceMUST
  • 1-3 years of experience in finance, procurement finance, strategic sourcing, supply chain finance, cost accounting, or fp&a
  • Experience with erp systems such as sap s/4hana, oracle fusion cloud erp, or similar platforms
PREFERRED
  • Experience supporting global manufacturing or cpg organizations

  • Experience supporting global manufacturing or CPG organizations
