The Role

Jabra, part of GN, is looking for a 12 months Parental Cover, for our Global PR & Comms Manager in HQ, Ballerup, Denmark. This is an exciting opportunity to integrate your PR background with your project management skills as you embark on a storytelling journey with a renowned technology brand.

The team you will be part of:

Reporting to the Head of Global PR & Comms, you will join a small team of 6 to ensure effective B2B product PR and thought leadership. You will create and oversee the process for global product PR launches, enabling regional PR managers and local agencies to implement them effectively in their markets. You will combine administrative and coordinating tasks with developing the global PR plans and assets.

Additionally, you will maintain the momentum of bringing the Jabra story to life in select markets, as you will be responsible for the local PR activities in Denmark and Norway. Together with the local PR agencies and Jabra teams, you will conduct the global PR campaigns in the markets and develop local activity on top.

A big part of the role is to understand the needs of our different business units and develop and execute relevant PR and comms plans.

Your contribution is appreciated, as you will be creating sound PR & Communications

Specifically, you will:

  • Collaborate with Head of PR & Communications, Product Marketing, Brand, Product Management and other teams to drive the global PR product launch processes

  • Manage the development of global PR assets, including press releases, Q&As and other types of communication in collaboration with an external copy writer

  • Participate in product meetings, branding and awareness meetings and calls with different stakeholders

  • Maintain solid global reporting processes and flow on internal communications

  • Support Denmark & Norway press inquiries

  • Plan and coordinate the local PR activities in DK & NO and manage the existing external DK & NO PR agency teams – improving product PR and thought leadership stories for trending topics in the Jabra enterprise arena, including hybrid working, collaboration tech, call centers, productivity enhancement etc.

  • Support the writing of PR assets in Danish and Norwegian, based on either global material or from start to finish

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:

  • Have a master’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism or a related field 

  • Solid experience from working with PR and communications globally or in Denmark, e.g. from an agency or a similar brand where you have worked with B2B PR

  • Experience in media relations, developing PR plans, product PR, thought leadership, and coordinating marketing communications

  • Proficient in Danish and English

  • Proficient in handling stakeholder relationships

  • Thrive in an evolving environment, capable of reprioritizing tasks and adjusting plans.

  • Have the ability to organize tasks effectively and collaborate remotely.
