 About this opportunity – Global Planner

Description:

The Global Planner position, will be in charge of leading US and APAC demand planning and support global supply for US manufactured products.


Job Responsibilities:

DEMAND AND SUPPLY / BUSINESS SUPPORT

  • Lead Demand Planning for US and APAC regions.
  • Organize and animate forecast reviews.
  • Interfaces with US commercial and marketing teams to go through forecast, business strategies and support on supply demand issues that could impact revenue, customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure accuracy and precision on forecasts, analyze differences between budget, actuals, and reforecasts.
  • Support on inventory planning for US manufactured products.
  • Support on production monthly capacity planning over a 12–18-month horizon.
  • Work closely with customer service open order to ensure we can meet our service level targets.
  • Support customer service on phase in and phase out, versioning report update.
  • Reporting on returns cycle time.


PROJECTS

  • Advance Planning solution implementation– user test during design phase to ensure we get a final user feedback while building this tool
  • Reduction of our non-conformance for US products (support operations on reports updates, proactiveness on how we can reduce our obsolete products).


REPORTING / METRICS

  • Nonconformance stock report for US manufactured products
  • Service level report
  • Global stock analysis: coverage, evolution +/-, excess stock rate for US manufactured products
  • Versioning report for US customer service
  • Weekly Inventory reports for US market
  • Returns report

 

Qualification Requirements: Business or related field Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance.

 

Skills:  At ease with analytics, problem-solving, communication, technical proficiency (advanced excel, PPT, Sage, Tableau), negotiation, adaptable, time management.

Pre-requisites / Job Experience: 4-6 years of experience in Demand & Supply Planning

Physical Requirements:

Extended periods of sitting or speaking.

Light lifting.

10% domestic and international travel to company sites

Heavy computer use.

Must adhere to the company’s safety practices by performing work safely and in accordance with established standards.
