As the Global Payroll Team Lead at Suitsupply, you will oversee the payroll process across 15 countries, including regions in Europe, North America, Hong Kong, and Australia. Working with a team of payroll specialists based in Amsterdam and New York, you will ensure the smooth operation of payroll through our recently implemented middleware software, Payslip, integrated with our Workday HR system. Your technical expertise will drive efficiency and optimization within our payroll processes. Additionally, you will establish an international payroll framework, lead and mentor the payroll team, and collaborate closely with the HR team to ensure timely and accurate payroll across borders.
What You Will Do:
- Take charge in further developing the international payroll framework, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry best practices
- Getting the best our of our systems (Workday and Payslip) and payroll specialists, fostering efficiency and accuracy in our payroll operations.
- Be the mentor of the team, play a pivotal role in the professionalization of our payroll department, enhancing processes and ensuring a high level of expertise
- Elevate our reporting structure to finance and HR by implementing improvements that provide valuable insights
- implement the new global aligned way of working after the implementation of new tools such as Payslip and Workday
Who You Are:
- At least 8 years of payroll management experience
- Flexible and adaptable to evolving needs
- Strong communicator with experience in setting up and enhancing centralized international payroll structures
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (HRM/Finance) is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of payroll processes and regulations, with a keen eye for detail
- Skilled payroll professional comfortable in a dynamic environment with frequent changes
- Ability to handle executive-level tasks, ensuring financial integrity and operational excellence
- Strong affinity for working with the technical aspects of payroll and information systems
- Experience with cross-border workers, including social security and tax implications
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and professionally with stakeholders at various levels of seniority
- Capacity and willingness to handle a range of payroll tasks, from routine to complex
- Excellent written and spoken English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus
