Join Benevity’s Global Operations Team as a Global Partnerships Specialist and contribute to our industry-leading global donation platform. We partner with ten foundations worldwide and seek a purpose-driven individual to support and enhance this network. As part of our team, you'll ensure smooth day-to-day operations, assist in compliance tasks, and document activities to navigate the complexities of the international charitable sector. Reporting to the Manager of Global Operations and collaborating with three Foundation Specialists, you’ll be key to our global network's growth and support.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with our Legal team to understand the charitable landscape and manage effective documentation
  • Ensure compliance with foundation governance and requirements across various countries
  • Implement operational workflows and product solutions that meet complex requirements
  • Partner with the Nonprofit Operations team to enhance vetting processes for international considerations
  • Serve as the Secretariat for Foundation Boards, handling all administrative duties and correspondence
  • Manage due dates for filings, renewals, and registrations, maintaining the Foundation’s minute book
  • Provide periodic updates, maintain records, and report progress to the Board
  • Research and draft policies for legal review and Board approval
  • Align Foundations with best governance practices

What you’ll bring:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years in a nonprofit operational role with governance experience
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Effective communication skills across all management levels and functional areas
  • In-depth understanding of charitable compliance requirements
  • Experience with Board meetings and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with remote teams
  • A desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment


Assets (not required):

  • Tech industry experience
  • Fluency in additional languages
  • Familiarity with tools like Asana
  • Experience with a global SaaS platform
