Location: CH Zurich HQ or Boston
About the role:
The Manufacturing Process Definition & Improvement, Director is responsible for ensuring the quality of processes and product outputs. This role involves defining and specifying activities, processes, and standards to meet quality requirements, auditing and monitoring processes, and reporting on deviations and defects. By optimizing manufacturing processes, this role contributes to the overall efficiency and quality of Takeda's operations.
How you will contribute:
* Define and specify activities, processes, and standards to meet quality requirements
* Audit and monitor processes and product outputs against defined standards
* Conduct product integrity testing and ensure compliance with corporate and customer quality requirements
* Report on process deviations and defects
* Lead project teams to achieve milestones and objectives
* Develop and implement new products, processes, standards, or operational plans
* Communicate with leadership and serve as the primary contact for contracts and operations

* Develops strategic influence initiatives and coaches others at all levels, including external stakeholders
* Known for deep expertise in Lean Six Sigma, providing strategic guidance and coaching others
* Solves strategic problems in troubleshooting, coaching others, and is sought after for expertise in methodical problem investigation
* Drives strategic initiatives in Continuous Improvement Process, mentoring others as a subject matter expert
* Recognized for deep expertise in optimizing processes and adjusting systems in workflow management, leading strategic initiatives
* Guides major projects in project management, recognized as a subject matter expert
* Creates advanced diagrams and flowcharts in Microsoft Visio, coaching others, and contributing to strategic projects
* Provides strategic insights and supervises others in advanced analytical techniques in data analysis
As a recognized expert within Takeda globally, you possess in-depth expertise in your discipline and broad knowledge across related areas. You're adept at anticipating internal/external challenges, recommending improvements, and solving unique, far-reaching business problems. Your role involves working on abstract issues, assessing intangible variables, contributing to global Business/Functional strategy, and serving as the primary contact for contracts and operations, conducting briefings and meetings with top management and customers. Operating with significant autonomy in a complex environment, you also lead project teams to achieve milestones and objectives.
