Job Description
The Day to Day (Responsibilities):
- Responsible for the daily operations of a corporate employee mobility team providing US immigration, tax and relocation programming with focus on compliance, planning, program efficiency, benchmarking, and cost effectiveness.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with external partners and networks in the mobility ecosystem.
- Using data, work with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve mobility programs and processes, as well as developing creative solutions to meet immediate and long-term business objectives.
- Manage our US immigration programs, including sponsorship of nonimmigrant and immigrant cases, and strategically implement enhancements reflecting our growth.
- Consult and educate on the most complex and high-level matters, to develop strategies to mitigate immigration & tax risk and provide timely solutions.
- Ensure that our vendors and internal partners provide a high-quality experience to employees, managers, and business stakeholders by utilizing internal controls and analytic assessments.
- Ensure global compliance based on current legislation / regulations. Monitor legislative and law changes affecting immigration and tax for employee mobility.
- Evolve, maintain and innovate policies and processes which enhance the employee experience and maximize the effectiveness of the global mobility lifecycle.
- Consults with the business, various corporate functions and HR to provide advice and guidance on mobility (immigration / relocation / tax) issues.
- Participate in industry benchmarking surveys, make recommendations for policy updates, maintenance and administration. Assess current mobility programs, practices and policies based on market trends.
- Resolve issues/concerns regarding TEL business travelers to prevent future traveler delays or denied entry
- Research, participate and contribute to TEL Global Mobility improvement projects.
- Facilitate/coordinate with other TEL departmental functions that support TEL global mobility ecosystem
- Manage a team of professionals to deliver a high-quality service, providing direction and oversight for various operational tasks (e.g., program budgeting & total cost reporting, invoicing management, new initiations, and tax related operational processes, including cost estimates, compensation collection, tax accruals and tax equalizations).
- Assist with design, implementation, and issue resolution of mobility management system. Identify service supplier integration issues and assist with problem resolution.
- Super user of mobility management system; audit system environment for data integrity, identifying issues/errors and resolve, set up auto generated AI tasks and reporting; provide system education to new users both domestic and international teams.
Must Haves (minimum qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management, or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years experience, with 5 years experience in a corporate employee mobility environment.
- Experience in employment based immigration, employee tax, relocation, project management and/or program development. Reporting and analytical skills mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Achieve exceptional business results with minimal supervision/guidance.
- Extremely flexible, proactive, highly organized, and able to quickly shift priorities.
- Comfortable speaking to large groups and individuals at all levels.
- Proficient in mobility management software (EQUUS)

The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds. This position also requires 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard.
