Position:Global Microsoft GTM LEAD

Job Description:

As the Global Microsoft GTM Lead, you are responsible for orchestrating Arrow's Microsoft go-to-market execution globally. You translate the strategic direction set by the Global Director of Hyperscalers into a concrete, prioritised and actionable plan across global leads, regions and countries.

You are the daily connection point between Microsoft stakeholders and Arrow's internal teams. Your role is to ensure that Microsoft priorities, programs, investments and strategic initiatives are clearly understood, structured, communicated and executed across the organisation.

You also act as the internal reference point for Microsoft-related topics — helping teams navigate priorities, align on messaging, resolve questions, connect the right stakeholders, and ensure that execution remains consistent across geographies.

Key responsibilities
  • Own the global Microsoft GTM operating rhythm in alignment with the Global Director of Hyperscalers, translating strategic priorities into a clear execution plan for global leads, regions and countries.
  • Manage and coordinate the team of global leads by setting priorities, structuring follow-up, ensuring alignment across workstreams, and helping remove blockers to execution.
  • Drive the daily relationship with Microsoft stakeholders by acting as Arrow's central point of contact for ongoing business priorities, program alignment, investment discussions and joint execution topics.
  • Be the go-to person internally for Microsoft-related topics by guiding teams on priorities, messaging, escalation paths, stakeholder engagement and ownership of key initiatives.
  • Translate Microsoft priorities into Arrow-ready motions by turning vendor programs, campaigns and strategic initiatives into practical frameworks that countries and partners can activate.
  • Connect global strategy with local execution by ensuring that country and regional teams understand the priorities, have the right tools, and are supported through launch, follow-up and adoption.
  • Ensure alignment across functions including sales, marketing, operations, enablement, partner programs, vendor management and regional leadership.
  • Build repeatable GTM frameworks and playbooks that make it easier for Arrow teams to execute Microsoft motions consistently across markets.
  • Track execution and business impact by following up on key initiatives, consolidating progress, identifying gaps and preparing decision-ready updates for leadership.
  • Support executive communication and governance by preparing clear summaries, business updates, stakeholder briefings and recommendations for internal and Microsoft-facing discussions.

Example initiatives you will build

Concrete examples of the kind of motions, frameworks and operating models you will design and roll out:

  • Global Microsoft GTM operating rhythm — a structured cadence to align global leads, country teams and Microsoft stakeholders on priorities, progress and decisions.
  • Microsoft stakeholder engagement model — a clear map of key Microsoft contacts, ownership, escalation paths and engagement routines.
  • Global leads governance framework — a practical model to define ownership, priorities, follow-up and accountability across Microsoft-related initiatives.
  • Country activation playbooks — repeatable frameworks that help local teams land Microsoft priorities consistently and faster.
  • Microsoft priority tracker — a central view of key programs, campaigns, investments, blockers and next steps across regions.
  • Executive business review materials — concise, decision-ready updates for internal leadership and Microsoft stakeholders.
  • Internal Microsoft knowledge hub — a structured source of truth for programs, priorities, contacts, messaging and GTM resources.

Required experience & skills
  • Strong understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem and of how a value-added distributor operates, including partner models, channel dynamics, incentives, programs and vendor engagement.
  • Experience managing go-to-market execution across multiple countries, regions or business units.
  • Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders, both internally and externally, in a complex international organisation.
  • Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional teams, workstreams or global leads without relying only on direct authority.
  • Strong programme and project management skills, with the ability to structure priorities, track execution, follow up rigorously and keep multiple initiatives moving in parallel.
  • Ability to translate strategic vendor priorities into practical commercial motions, frameworks, enablement assets and execution plans.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and create clear, executive-ready updates.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve and alignment across teams is critical.

Key competencies
  • Highly structured and organised — keeps multiple stakeholders, countries, workstreams and follow-ups moving without losing momentum.
  • Strong stakeholder manager — builds trust with Microsoft, internal leadership, global leads and country teams.
  • Strategic yet execution-focused — understands the big picture but is hands-on in turning strategy into operating rhythm, playbooks and results.
  • Commercially sharp — understands how GTM priorities translate into sales execution, partner activation and business impact.
  • Collaborative and influential — able to align teams across functions and geographies, even when priorities or ownership are complex.
  • Proactive problem-solver — anticipates blockers, clarifies ownership and drives issues to resolution.
  • Confident communicator — able to represent Arrow internally and externally with clarity, professionalism and credibility.
  • Autonomous and accountable — self-driven, reliable and comfortable operating in a high-visibility global role while aligning closely with the Global Director of Hyperscalers.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation (base + variable).
  • Supportive work environment with flat structures.
  • Company Car or Car Allowance
  • Professional and personal development opportunities.
  • Private healthcare and other benefits.

Arrow is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
