We are looking for a Global Marketing Performance Lead to join our Global Marketing organization and play a pivotal role in driving marketing investment optimization and business growth across our international markets.

Based at The Island, our headquarters in central Paris, you will be a key member of the Matrix Leadership Team, partnering with senior commercial, marketing, and executive stakeholders to maximize return on marketing investments through data-driven decision-making.

Matrix is Pernod Ricard's proprietary, AI-powered Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) ecosystem, leveraging advanced machine learning capabilities to measure, predict, and optimize marketing performance across brands, channels, and markets globally. Already deployed across our largest affiliates, Matrix is delivering significant business impact by transforming how marketing investments are allocated and managed.

As Global Marketing Performance Lead, you will:

Lead the strategic adoption and business impact of Matrix across a portfolio of international markets. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership teams, driving marketing effectiveness, investment governance, media optimization, and organizational transformation. You will be accountable for accelerating ROI growth, influencing multimillion-euro A&P investment decisions, and ensuring marketing performance excellence through advanced analytics, best-in-class media practices, and strong change leadership. Elaborate, define, promote and follow the global marketing performance standards, frameworks, and operating models for all entities.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Marketing Investment & Performance

  • Advise senior leaders on A&P investment decisions, optimizing resource allocation and business outcomes.

  • Lead investment governance, business case development, scenario analysis, and executive recommendations.

  • Drive marketing ROI through data-driven planning, performance management, and investment optimization.

  • Translate Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and advanced analytics into actionable growth strategies.

  • Establish KPIs, benchmarks, and governance frameworks to track ROI and value realization.

Media Effectiveness & Marketing Excellence

  • Serve as the global expert on media effectiveness, planning, and investment optimization.

  • Partner with local teams to improve channel strategy, audience targeting, budget allocation, and media performance.

  • Promote evidence-based marketing planning aligned with business objectives and analytics insights.

  • Continuously enhance global media effectiveness frameworks and best practices.

Product Strategy & Innovation

  • Shape the Matrix product roadmap and influence future capabilities.

  • Collaborate with Product, Data Science, Engineering, and Analytics teams on business requirements and innovation.

  • Leverage emerging technologies, including Generative AI, advanced attribution, and evolving consumer engagement models, to improve marketing performance measurement.

Executive Leadership & Change Management

  • Build trusted relationships with senior executives and market leaders.

  • Lead organizational change initiatives to accelerate adoption of advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making.

  • Align stakeholders around strategic priorities and marketing transformation efforts.

Capability Building & Governance

  • Develop a global network of marketing performance leaders and establish best-practice frameworks.

  • Lead capability-building programs, executive workshops, and training initiatives.

  • Define and govern global marketing performance standards while ensuring local market relevance.

  • Capture and share best practices to strengthen enterprise-wide marketing effectiveness.

YOUR PROFILE

  • 10+ years in Marketing Effectiveness, Analytics, Media Strategy, Commercial Excellence, or Consulting.

  • Proven success leading large-scale marketing transformation in global organizations.

  • Deep expertise in MMM, econometrics, attribution, and marketing measurement.

  • Strong background in media strategy, planning, effectiveness, and performance optimization.

  • Experience influencing senior executives and driving strategic decisions.

  • Experience in Media Agencies, Consulting, FMCG, Consumer Goods, or Food & Beverage sectors preferred.

  • International experience preferred; knowledge of the China media landscape is a plus.

Leadership Competencies

  • Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to influence across complex, matrixed organizations.

  • Demonstrated change management and transformation leadership experience.
