The Global Market Manager is responsible for managing Littelfuse’s electronics components portfolio for Datacenter and Communication Infrastructure (DCI), as well similar systems in other markets.
The candidate must be self-motivated to deploy Littelfuse solutions, and able to develop a vision of the future with product implementation plans. The candidate must be comfortable managing commercial & technical ambiguities and be able to get people excited about the future!
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the go-to-market positioning of all Littefluse prodcuts in applications, develop deep understanding of system-level considerations, and derive new product requirements from system insights. This individual will lead voice-of-customer (VoC) activities to gain a deep understanding of customer needs in the context of Littelfuse products.
Responsibilities will include understanding business ecosystems, customers’ technical applications, and ability to critically analyze electrical systems independently.
This position is responsible for articulating value proposition, developing applications-related content, identifying customer needs, shaping product roadmaps, and championing new platforms. Additionally, the incumbent will champion growth with existing products, support business plans for new product development, and M&A activities. Close global collaboration across all functions is required including but not limited to sales, product management, and technical teams.
Approximately 30% travel (domestic & international) to customers & company locations will be required. Other responsibilities include providing regular project updates, supporting sales, product management, and marketing communications activities.
Experience or Education:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience are required.
- Candidate must have at least 5-8 years of relevant experience in electronic systems.
- Must have demonstrated experience in strategic marketing, applications engineering, or product management; demonstrated leadership of voice-of-customer activities.
- Strong experience with electrical systems architecture is required; prior work product design/development work on electronics systems is highly desired.
- Candidate must have strong communications and organizational skills.
- Experience in working in cross-functional teams is required.
- Multi-disciplinary and multi-industry experience is highly desired.
- Dealing with ambiguity and managing uncertainty and interpersonal savvy
- The ability to influence without authority.
