We share ideas and collaborate so that together, we can develop solutions that deliver more enjoyable and sustainable living.
About the RoleThe Global Experience Marketing team for Wellbeing and SDA (floor care, air care, water care and small domestic appliances) shapes how our products are positioned for consumers around the world – from value propositions and claims to the long-term innovation pipeline. Within the team, Global Trends & Market Insights acts as the radar of the Global Category organization: spotting market shifts, consumer needs and competitor moves early, and turning them into insights that guide product strategy, portfolio choices and generation planning.
As a Global Trends & Market Insights Intern, your mission is to support this work by gathering, analyzing and presenting market, consumer and competitor intelligence that helps the team make evidence-based decisions. A key deliverable of the internship will be a living competitor overview for our categories, using AI to make the collection and analysis of competitor data faster and smarter.
What You'll Work On
- Build a living competitor overview for our Wellbeing and SDA categories – using AI tools to streamline the collection and analysis of competitor launches, pricing, claims, features and consumer ratings – as the key output of the internship.
- Use the competitor overview to support ongoing projects with product and claims benchmarking and summaries of key findings.
- Gather and consolidate consumer insights from research studies, online reviews and regional market inputs.
- Assist in preparing regular market intelligence reports and presentations for the Global Product Line team.
- Maintain and update the team's central insights repository so learnings are easy to find and share.
What You'll Learn
- How a global appliance company uses market, consumer and competitor insights to shape product strategy and innovation.
- Hands-on experience applying AI tools to collect and analyze market and competitor data, and building a living insights tool that the team relies on.
- Practical analytical skills such as trend scanning, competitive benchmarking and consumer review analysis, and turning findings into actionable insights.
- How to structure and present insights clearly to senior stakeholders in reports and presentations.
- Exposure to how product portfolios, innovation roadmaps and claims are developed across floor care, air care and SDA.
- Working with cross-functional stakeholders across Product Line, R&D, Brand and regional teams in an international environment.
