WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Lead Global Logistics Operations: 
    Oversee end-to-end logistics activities across regions, ensuring achievement of KPIs and SLAs for all service areas, including asset management, last mile delivery, and remote warehouse operations. 
  • Drive Operational Excellence: 
    Ensure exceptional performance in global logistics functions, including inbound/outbound shipments, inventory management, reverse logistics, e-waste, asset tracking, and compliance with international shipping standards and regulations. 
  • Manage Stakeholder Relationships: 
    Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with global clients, vendors, and internal teams. Represent operations in cross-functional meetings and drive alignment, with a focus on CSAT and service quality. 
  • System Oversight & Process Management: 
    Monitor and maintain logistics operational systems, manage global work queues, ensure data integrity across platforms, and oversee remote warehouse management systems. 
  • Best Practices & Team Development: 
    Develop, implement, and share global best practices. Manage team performance, oversee hiring, training, development, and scheduling for international staff, including large format team supervision and remote teams. 
  • Safety & Compliance: 
    Implement and enforce safety protocols and compliance standards across all global logistics sites, including adherence to global shipping standards. 
  • Performance Reporting: 
    Compile, analyze, and present performance data to leadership. Identify trends, recommend improvements, and report on CSAT metrics and asset utilization. 
  • Service Area Supervision: 
    Supervise core logistics service areas, support operations, and guide regional service leads, including oversight of last mile delivery and remote warehouse teams. 
  • Project Management: 
    Lead or support additional global logistics projects as assigned by management, including initiatives related to asset management, last mile delivery, and remote warehouse optimization. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Global People Leadership: Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire diverse teams across multiple regions. Skilled in fostering engagement and growth. 
  • Stakeholder Management: Builds trust and strong relationships with global customers, partners, and internal teams. Maintains high standards and consistently prioritizes stakeholder interests. 
  • Process Optimization: Detail-oriented, hands-on leader who drives continuous improvement and operational excellence across international logistics operations, including asset management, last mile delivery, and remote warehouse management. 

KPI-Driven & SOP Management 

  • KPI-Driven Leadership: 
    Champion a culture of accountability by setting, monitoring, and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) across all logistics functions. Ensure that operational goals are clearly defined, tracked, and communicated to teams, driving continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives. 
  • SOP Development & Enforcement: 
    Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all core logistics processes. Regularly review and update SOPs to reflect best practices, regulatory changes, and operational learnings. Train teams on SOP adherence to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance across global operations. 
  • Performance Analysis & Feedback: 
    Utilize data-driven insights to assess team and process performance against established KPIs and SOPs. Provide actionable feedback, coaching, and support to drive improvements and close performance gaps. 
  • Continuous Improvement: 
    Lead initiatives to refine KPIs and SOPs, leveraging stakeholder input and operational data. Foster a culture of innovation and excellence by encouraging teams to identify and implement process enhancements. 

  

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • Experience: 
    5+ years in global logistics and operations management, with a track record of leading international teams and operations, including asset management, last mile delivery, and remote warehouse supervision. 
  • Methodologies: 
    Expertise in Lean methodologies, process improvement, international service management, and global shipping standards. 
  • Skills: 
    Exceptional communication, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively across time zones and manage remote teams. 
  • Technical Proficiency: 
    Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace, MS Office, Jira, Tableau, and logistics management systems. 

 

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

  • Vendor management experience in a global context 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience 
  • Lean 6 Sigma and project management certifications 
  • Experience with CSAT measurement and improvement 
  • Familiarity with large format team supervision and remote warehouse management
