About This Role: As the Director, Global Launch Excellence Lead for the SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) portfolio, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire global commercial launch process. This role demands a strategic thinker who can lead cross-functional and cross-regional teams to develop and execute comprehensive launch plans. Your efforts will directly support Biogen's strategic objectives by enhancing organizational capabilities and fostering agile decision-making. With a focus on collaboration and innovation, you will design and implement key initiatives spanning external engagement with healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers. What You’ll Do:
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop impactful launch plans for the SMA portfolio.
- Drive strategic and operational rigor in managing integrated launch plans, including timelines, budgets, and risks.
- Serve as an integrator for the IDU and Thecaflex programs, facilitating decision-making and removing barriers for launch priorities.
- Build and maintain tools to plan and track launch progress, enhancing team collaboration.
- Coordinate the development of presentations to facilitate strategic planning and decision-making.
- Define and execute a global engagement strategy across healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers.
- Provide regular launch progress updates to leadership and key governance committees.

Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
