Your responsibilities:                                     

  • Global responsibility for developing and executing strategies to maximize NXP sales and profit at a Tier 1 Automotive Account through:

  • Understanding the customer‘s business strategy, opportunities and issues. Identifying opportunities for NXP based on this and helping to tailor the NXP Value Propositions specifically for your customers

  • Understanding formal & informal hierarchy, decision makers, advocates and enemies at customer and establishing and developing suitable relationship strategies to improve NXPs position at the account

  • Through thorough understanding of the balance of power and relationships, create and successfully execute suitable negotiation strategy and tactics (done throughout the year)

  • Representing and conveying the customer needs internally at NXP, and ensuring adequate priorities are set in order to execute against strategy

  • Effective delegation and monitoring of logistic/quality issues to the relevant people within NXP

  • Ensuring that all key internal systems and processes are timely updated with accurate information

  • Consolidating the above in a Customer Business Plan in order to clearly communicate what you expect and require from NXP in order to meet short and long term Revenue and Design Win targets.

  • Gathering and communicating market/competitor information into the organization

  • Manage 8 direct reports

 

Your profile:

  • Electrical engineering degree or similar. Knowledge about semiconductor products, in particular the Automotive portfolio Auto MCUs and MPUs, infotainment (Tuners and Amplifiers), Radars, sensors and high-performance mixed signal and analog) and their usage in the automotive application fields

  • 15 years experience in automotive semiconductor Marketing or Sales

  • Very strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills in both German and English

  • Ability to explain complex technical contents in a convincing fashion appropriate to the level of the business partner

  • Strong analytical skills to extract key customer requirements and to identify appropriate solutions

  • High degree of flexibility, motivation, customer focus, business orientation and networking ability are requested for this position

  • Willing to travel

  • You have a proven track record of success in a challenging business environment

  • Team player

Skills Required

  • Willingness to travel (mainly France and Germany, including EMEA and worldwide)
