Join J.P. Morgan's HK IPO Regulatory Oversight and Documentation team within Hong Kong IPO and Corporate Finance group as an Associate, where you will work alongside experienced professionals at a leading global investment bank. Job Responsibilities:
- As key member in HK IPO Regulatory Oversight and Documentation team in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance and control frameworks with evolving regulatory expectations
- Participate in deal execution by assisting with due diligence scope and protocol during the execution process, with opportunities to engage directly with clients and participate in client meetings.
- Work with Sponsor Principals to identify and resolve specific issues during the execution process and assist in implementing new internal standards based on evolving market developments and regulatory frameworks.
- Support regulatory inspections and internal audits on behalf of the HK IPO and Corporate Finance team, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Proactively develop internal documentation requirements and ensure high-quality documentation practices
- Support HK IPO and Corporate Finance team, focusing on the specific needs and objectives of the team.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or other related fields.
- 4 years of work experience in an investment banking front office or related role.
- Close attention to detail and ability to deliver output of a high standard.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Chinese and strong communication and written skills in English.
- Ability to deliver quality under pressure.
- Strong emphasis on good partnership and a control-conscious team-working environment.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and initiative, with a strong desire to learn the business.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Proficient in PPT, Excel is a plus
- Prior experience in investment banking or related financial services.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including ECM, corporate finance, legal, and compliance teams.
- Knowledge of the regulatory backdrop and services related to IPOs is a plus.
