The Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Global Implementation Project Manager to join Block's Customer Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Project Management, Customer Operations, and specifically implementing large scale customer operations projects at scale with experience leveraging global BPO providers.
You will have a proven ability to apply industry standards in project management methodologies and a demonstrated ability to manage aggressive deadlines, and budgets. In this role you will be responsible for leading projects that span our global geographic footprint and work with multiple external providers, and internal stakeholders across our broad support ecosystem. You will also provide guidance, strategic direction, and subject matter expertise while ensuring strong program performance and alignment with organizational goals.
You Will

  • Own global implementations and project management of Block Customer Operations strategic initiatives
  • Understand the initiatives, business strategy, and roadmap for the teams you support.
  • Work with teams within the program(s) you support to assess requirements and operational impact of new strategic initiatives.
  • Drive and coordinate project management efforts across multiple business groups.
  • Create and oversee project documentation, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
  • Present program updates and milestone reviews to an executive audience


You Have

  • 8+ years of experience in a project/program management or similar role.
  • Experience implementing complex operational projects across diverse geographies, timezones, and stakeholders
  • Experience working within fintech, understanding compliance and regulatory considerations and demonstrated ability to build and deliver end-to-end programs with knowledge of the underlying lifecycles, platforms and technologies
  • Experience working with BPO providers, understanding their unique capabilities, strengths and opportunities.

The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
