IBP Lead, 12 Month FTC
Location: Amsterdam
About the position:
The role of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Lead is responsible for the development of global guidelines, drives the implementation and continuous improvement of our IBP process. This strategic leadership role requires a blend of critical thinking, operational expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to align business goals, financial targets, and operational execution. The IBP Lead will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure our plans are effectively executed.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Process Development and Implementation:
• Develop and implement a standardized IBP process across all regions, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
• Design, enhance, and maintain the IBP process to enable effective decision-making and alignment across all organizational functions.
• Establish key performance metrics, benchmarks, and standard processes to drive continuous improvement.
Continuous Improvement:
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Integrate data-driven insights into the IBP process, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of forecasts and plans.
Strategic Guidance and Vision:
• Develop and champion the vision, strategy, and roadmap aligning it with the company's overall business objectives and long-term growth plans.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Foster strong partnerships and collaboration across departments to ensure alignment of plans and resources.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, growth, commercial, procurement and other key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment.
• Facilitate regular meetings to review performance, resolve issues, and make decisions that support business objectives.
• Act as a liaison between different functional areas to drive consensus on IBP calendar facilitating the feedback loop of actions and decisions from the Executive IBP meeting to team members.
Performance Management and Risk Mitigation:
• Monitor and report on the performance of the IBP process, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth operation and goal attainment.
Training and Development:
• Mentor and train regional IBP teams to ensure they have the vital skills and knowledge to implement the IBP process effectively.
• Build and develop an impactful IBP team, providing coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to enhance capabilities and get results.
• Champion a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team and across the organization.
Expected Experience & Required Skills:
• Bachelor or Master's Degree.
• 10+ years of experience leading IBP or S&OP process in a complex, global organization (demand or supply planning, FP&A or E2E supply chain roles).
• Excellent understanding of business planning cycles.
• Experience in leading cross functional transformation projects.
• Change management experience.
• Indirect teams' leadership.
• Proficiency in advanced planning tools and systems, ERP systems, and data analytics platforms.
• Deep knowledge of industry best practices in demand planning, supply chain management, and financial forecasting.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to derive insights from data and convert them into actionable plans and recommendations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, capable of engaging and aligning team members at all organizational levels.
