The Global PEX Operations & Implementation Manager leads the end-to-end implementation and operational delivery of People Experience services supporting the Unilever transformation. The role ensures service continuity, governance, compliance, operational excellence and a consistent employee experience through the transition into the future operating model.
This role combines programme delivery, operational leadership, stakeholder management and continuous improvement, acting as the central point of accountability for deployment, readiness, stabilisation and ongoing People Operations delivery.
Lead end-to-end People Operations implementation and transition into the future operating model.
Own programme delivery, including plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and executive reporting.
Oversee employee movements, hiring, onboarding, documentation, and exit activities.
Lead and develop the People Operations team, driving service excellence and operational performance.
Establish governance, controls, KPIs, compliance standards, and risk management practices.
Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, Legal, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless workforce transitions.
Drive process improvement, automation, and digital adoption across People Operations.
Use data, analytics, and operational insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide leadership throughout implementation and stabilization phases.
Significant leadership experience in People Operations, HR Shared Services, People Experience or Global Business Services.
Proven delivery experience in large-scale transformation, organisational change or mass-change programmes.
Experience leading operational teams through ambiguity, time pressure and change.
Deep understanding of Hire-to-Retire processes and HR service delivery.
Experience managing stakeholders across HR, Talent Acquisition, Legal, Finance, Digital Technology and business leadership.
Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology or a related discipline; postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
Experience with Workday, ServiceNow or equivalent case management platforms.
Strong programme and project management capability, including RAID, readiness tracking, reporting and reconciliation.
